Thanks @ifitsfreeitsforme ! Have seen some great stuff online but shop local. Got some good info for local craftspeople at the event. Now to find purple night multicam wool......🤓
We have the Waipu highland games each year just out of town here in NZ with similar booths to what you've taken Pic of, good to listen to the history of the clans

My daily commuter recently got overhauled, originally hand-built road bike I bought secondhand 30 years or so ago, gone through lots of changes and now probably stick with this setup, recently added the panniers and mud guard, swapped rear tire for better tread and size swapped stem for better height added nice slightly sweeped back bar, took off double rings and put on 42 tooth narrow wide ring and replaced deraileur and shifter to L twoo A3 deraileur/shifter which gives crisp and clean shifting

Very cool! There are usually a couple of highland games in the Denver area but not this year. It is interesting history of the clans! My Mom & Brother visited Scotland last summer & the family estate. Brother wants us to move there.🙂

Well, i've always wanted one of these-but the average cost of these babies run over $1700.00...

But then a few days ago I get ambushed by a local auction, and THIS GUY was just sitting there...nobody wanted it due to chain slip, obviously unrideable (yeah, right!) so first Bid got it at...$325.00. :rockout:

I took the 'unrideable' one home in my pick-up, replaced the missing idler wheel with a hastily-gouged skateboard wheel, oiled the chain and....ZOOM!

In short-I am now the happy owner of a pre-2007 Sun Tour SX Recumbent Trike! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAA! :inlove::inlove::inlove: Only thing i've done to it so far is to kit it out with a few accessories laying about (used baskets and toolbags, chain lock etc) and taking it out on short trips near my RV park, getting used to the derailleur system (21 gears is WAY too much for a Delta configuration!) and building up the slightly different set of muscle groups a Recumbent uses.

Tomorrow though-all day on the Boardwalk in Morehead NC! I am going to be one sore puppy i'm sure...

I decided to add a front brake, just in case I lost the chain. Then a short ride in the early morning heat. I followed it up with a longer stationary ride on the Lanai.

Just built this single speed, I love the one I have but wanted a frame slightly bigger, I bought this frame ages ago, it's Italian something, chrome rear and guessing painted front that at one stage someone sanded back, I slapped some parts together and came out great, I actually really love it, I cut out from a big sheet of sticker and put around the headtube and going to sticker halfway along the top and down tube, as it was Italian it had Italian bb threads so got around that by using two left side axle cups on both sides and lock ringing both sides

Not actually riding, but Queenfish used her bike this weekend for the Hidden Garden tour that we were part of. She staged a French market scene where my urban paint booth trash cans normally are. We had over 1200 people come into our courtyard Friday and Saturday.

Beautiful autumn day downunder in Melbourne today. I haven’t been on a bike in over 2 weeks for a number of reasons
and it was really quiet at work so I shut the office, put my phone on divert, grabbed the ‘51 Panther and tore off through town to the bay. It was my first ride on this bike after a complete rebuild.

An absolutely gorgeous day on Sunday for "Ape-ril" OBC Bluz Cruz! I was asked to lead the ride since my buddy Blu was in Kansas for a swap. I asked folks to bring their ape hanger/high rise handlebar bikes in celebration of "Ape-ril" & rode JC Piggins for a day of fun!
About half way around Washington Park I saw a car show nearby so we had to check it out!

Quick stop at the candy store on the way back. Parked next to a Sears Spyder I kinda miss. Glad Michael likes it!

Found a "Skye" ring somewhere along the way & clipped it to the sissy bar...

Then a quick stop at In-a-Gadda-Davida before ending another picture perfect day with friends! This is the supposed center spot of Denver.

That would be awesome! :rockout:Been trying to tempt you with all of our craft brewers in Longmont for an extended weekend. Just missed Grossenßart Brewing's Mustache Ride.Always fun unless it's 17° like last year. I did not attend last year.🥶🥶🥶 Almost had Left Hand's NitroFest in our warehouse a few years ago. (good ol' boy network suggested their place🤦🏻‍♂️🤷‍♂️😡would be better)

One day perhaps. That would be cool!
