What's The Diff?? S5, S6 rims (20in)

I was trying to google the difference between the schwinn S5 and S6 rims on the Fastbacks.. Couldn't find anything that made sense..Can somebody explain this? Thank ya!

s-5's were on 66-71 or 72? 72/73- whenever they stopped were s-6.

s-5's had the raised center with the knurling, s-6 was a flat rim with knurling in the center.

all? sounds like you got extras my friend.. lol.. Are there any newer tire makes out there?

only 4 wheels / 4 tires 2 s-5's and 2 s-6's

i believe kenda made some, just look up schwinn fastback on ebay and often the remakes will pop up for sale in there, theres always hyper-formance too, but be prepared usually 30 a pop for saying schwinn on em, i think the kendas(WW) ive seen are closer to 20 each tho. i let ya know if i find anything other tho.

Yes, 20" s-5's and s-6's take the same tire size.

I might have to go "ghetto" and put on sum S7s or even regular rims.. I wasn't planning on building an original Fastback but just a rider.. I copped a 24in speedster frame also.. lol.. Two many projects!!
