2 things going on this Saturday (December 1st). Both are family friendly events.
Believe In Christmas Bicycle Build.
Assembling new bikes to be given away at the Believe in Christmas event. 7:00am at Believers Tabernacle Church- Southeast Corner of Hillside & Mt.Vernon. Bring your tools & stands. Even those with no mechanical skills can help with carrying and breaking down boxes, moving assembled bikes etc... 800 bikes need to be built this year which is twice the amount of last year.
Christmas in Delano.
Meet no later than 2:00pm at the Shamrock lounge. From there we will ride the historic Delano district taking in a Christmas house tour, a few pubs, maybe eat and shop plus the clock tower lighting ceremony at 5:00pm. There is also fireworks and the Parade Of Boats later in the evening.
I plan to do both. Build bikes in the morning then ride and party in the afternoon. What a great way to kick off the holiday season!
