You got to be kidding me....... Wheel Problems

Ok, so I gotta new set of wheels today that I ordered.... they dont fit. The hub bolt is too big, any suggestions before I return them? I have a JC Higgins Flightliner and I really wanna get these on the bike!

Only a suggestion...file/hog out the slots on the frame and forks to fit the axles.

It takes the patience of a Saint,but if ya take your time and do it right,it will work.

I've done it too.

Don' t touch the forks. File or grind down each side of the axle to fit the existing slot. Axles are a couple of bucks, the Flightliner fork is irreplacable.

cman is right about the axle.

I did'nt think about THAT fork at the time...

thanks guys..... so I got one more question. Once again, this is my first build and the wheels I got came with the back sproket and a silver ring, I have no idea what the silver ring is for bc Im a tard. thanks.
