In the winter I build and fly mini and micro drones . We are still in the high 80's so it's to hot to chase them around so I'm not going to drag my collection out . I fly them , smash and break them then rebuild them . This is my newest investment , a universal controller

1.I might have a collection problem. I collect collections.
2. You peeps might have stuff I want to collect.
Show me. Stuff you think is cool. Stuff you think other Ratters might think is cool. Stuff I might want to start collecting collections of. Musical instruments? Dig it! Toys? Super cool! Horror business! That's my business! Comix? Rad! Records? I'm in! Stacks of old Mad Magazines? What, me, envy? Guns, knives, sharp pointy sticks? You know where to stick it! Faberge eggs? I'll look. Not necessarily bike related, but there are bonus points for bike stuff.

I can relate.

The most comprehensive collection I have is HO scale slot car stuff:

Also some model car stuff:

There's also a lot of diecast stuff, but that involves digging it out from under other stuff at the moment.

I've been told it's not hoarding if your stuff is cool.

About drones, I do have a Dji Spark.
That's a fun picture drone . But if you want to learn free style flying or want try building a micro drone on a budget look at Betafpv . I know DJI still owns consumer market and you pay for it .
Kind of like Schwinn was . A fun site to look at is rotor riot on Youtube , these guys can fly .

Found some pictures of my Trabant before the stripping to bare metal started.

How it looked when my friend rode it for a couple of months:

I don't know what part of Pa you are in, there is a slot car show coming up the first week of November in Allentown.
Is that at an antique mall? I went to one like that years ago in Allentown, I should probably find my way to that one. I'm about 2 hours southwest of Allentown on 78 and 81. Thanks for the heads up.

I see you have an early 51! I have a double black with one piece that Micawbered itself. I am now fairly convinced Keef has the pups wrong way 'round. The stocker neck sings!
It is a strat pickup, it should sing! I rewired mine to have both Vol and Tone with a micro switch in between to switch pickups. I also put in a push pull pot to coil tap the humbucker, sounds nice with both as single coils, and I can do the classic strat neck pickup with the Tone rolled back to 8 or 9, for that bluesy Jimi style sound. A lot of modern players miss out by not using the tone control to flavor their sound. (or lack of...)

Carl.
