Great day for another shakedown ride on the '97 Columbia after a few changes. Still have the fenders and possibly the tank to fit, but I got both in raw steel and need to paint them. The 6th lockdown in our state is providing me with some great photo opportunities due to the lack of cars and people in the city.

Memorial to commemorate the 2000 mile expedition of Burke and Wills in 1860 from Melbourne in the south to the Gulf of Carpentaria in the north. At that time most of inland Australia had not been explored by non indigenous people and was mostly unknown to the European settlers. Both men perished on the return journey and of the 19 others who accompanied them, 7 died and only one made the return journey alive.

Beautiful spring morning for a blast around town on the Red Menace. Dropped 3 teeth on the rear sprocket and its so much faster in top gear. Just need a set of Paul’s big crook bars and this thing is done.

Went for another long ride on the Scholumbia Superb a few days ago towards the bay, returning through Albert Park Lake and the F1 track. This bike is surprisingly fast for a cruiser. The day before I hot rodded the KT coaster with loose bearings on the drive side and repacked it with moly grease and it spins so much better.

This was my grandfather’s house until he passed in 1983. Built in the 1860’s from Victorian bluestone.

So took this for a spin, it belongs to my friend but I can ride it and it stays in my garage, he doesn't want to give it up but he knows he can trust that I would appreciate it more then anyone else if he were to formally give it to me, hand made by reiker bikes, they made all our nz postman bikes, and is in the works to do e bikes soon, this one has Columbus tubing, ultegra brakes, 105 gears, crank and hubs, campagnolo omega rims

That's a really nice bike, Columbus tubing is yummy. I like the weird little bend on the drops, looks like the swell would fill up the palms nicely.
Is that pink tire made for outdoor use? Looks like a trainer tire, they don't have good grip, and will wear down quickly on the road

I have some hot pink bar wrap, but sending it to NZ would be ridiculous postage.
