be honest, did you even unpack prior to mocking up the bike bits?

Believe it or not, I actually had to wait almost 3 days after we got back. :D . But different parts and ideas have been swimming in my head for a while.

The Flying Machine forks are very nice. I’m having a case of custom fork envy here.

BTW Felix the Oscar is the kingfish around here. He has that same expresion.

Before it's all done, I'll probably end up using this Flying Machine springer fork that I traded some bike stuff to Anthony for. For you longtime RRBers, FlyingMachine was TinMachine here many years back. His fabricating skills are off the charts nowadays!!

Madness! All of it!!!

name β€œBat Fink” !!!!!!

I had been thinking Uncle Fink, but I kinda like Bat Fink. :D
We'll see. I don't want to gett bogged down into a certain theme. I have had a lot of Kustom Kulture mix of ideas running around in my head for this build though.

I keep thinking about suspension forks, and I keep thinking about how much my bike already weighs.

Maybe I can live without it.

Maybe around there...
Welcome to here

Are we gonna play who’s on first now?

I thought I was thru with the fowl behavior after this morning’s goose feeding ride.

All this talking about the FM springer made me want to put it on for a test fit.
I can see that the frame is still down slightly in the front, but I also still don't have a headset installed. Plus I can adjust the springer section as needed.
As beefy as these forks are, I think the visual mass of them play well with the wheelset and the frame itself. I'm diggin the vibe so far!
