Ok folks I have a couple and will get photos up soon, Looking for images of The Huffy Tempest in original condition, looking for 60's bikes only! no eighties or later... In our stable we have a Tempest (complete with 2 speed kickback) that I just picked from the scrapyard, a Girls Galaxie, and a El Dorado (complete with the front fender jet!)

Ok finally got sorted out and back on track with photobucket.. here is my next project bike.. 2 speed Huffy Tempest that I pulled from the scrapyard... the chain guard is a bit tweaked, and I have put a ton of chrome polish into this one.. have a bit more to go before I post a reveal picture.

My 1974 Huffman "Easy Going" somewhat cruiser. My rear end can't handle too much weight, so hence the MTB bars. Sach's CB. Still experimenting with cockpit fit, but I feel it's about right for my 6'2" height. Got some kenda 838's on order. Found the tires on Amazon for $18 free shipping. Some issues with the seatpost. The 13/16 is too small, and 7/8 is too big. Not sure what's up with that. Changed the chain ring and rear cog to 36 & 22, respectively. Had a 48 & 20, way too tall for me. So far, so good. Time will tell how it ends up. Hope you guys like it.
