Got me thinking, What colors have you used in your builds for the aged "patina" look?
And also is "satin" the best finish? Also couple more pics for cool reference:

If you would be so kind to show a finished pic of your bike and the color sprays used (and also any techniques used). This would be a cool resource to have for future builds!

The swamp dog build off 11...
I sprayed multiple colors and then took a Scotch-Brite pad and sanded down through the layers of color . The bike was in gray primer to start but I never sanded down to it not saying you can't . The next color was Army green , the turquoise , then dark brown satin . Gloss or satin or flat shine doesn't really matter because your scuffing it any way .

This was a fairly simple and effective way to give a aged look . I'm sure you can use any colors you like but I would finish in dark brown if your looking for the aged & rusted look .
The rest of the bike is all natural patina & rust . I only painted the frame , tank & chain guard this way which I've called a fauxRatic finish !!!!

it's a clear coat, goes OVER colors usually.
