Maybe a vinyl or leather wrapped handle that would match the seat? I like how the shifter itself sits in between the twin tubes.

Man! That bike is looking good!

I really like all the "bent" tubing- seat post, bars etc.

All the "made" parts like the shifter and light are very cool

Paracord wrap could look cool

Or a bullwhip handle in leather

Quick question I've never dealt with a nexus 4 before it shouldn't matter if I turn where they cable goes to the hub?

Reason is I want to run the cable down the seat stay. And is there supposed to be an adjusting screw there? The only other experience with something like this is a nexus 3 and it has one.

Was at the flea market this weekend and found this golf club grip and figured if I cut it down I could use it on my shifter.

Cut it to size I needed colored in most of the letters with permanent marker.

I got my pedals in and they match the pedals pretty good.

I went with @restodave idea and I modified the light bracket and attached it down low on the Springer.also painted the bucket light antique white and used the handle part to hold the light in.

Have to do some more work on the light need some bracing on the inside little to floppy and some more paint.

Painting that bucket antique white and lowering it just completely changed my mind on this!
Way to see the vision for that in a different direction, Brian! That is true customizing right there. Tweaking a unique idea to fit the scheme / overall look of an already cool build.

My inter eights didn't have one there. It's been a minute since I dialed one in. That has like two red lines on the side of the hub?

Decided to build a different tank like on papas taxi so it will hold itself in place with post with screws. Reason being for the change is I tried to glue three pieces of plywood together with spray glue and I guess I didn't clamp it well enough and started to come apart.

Made a cardboard template traced it on some 1×6

Cut out my halves and routed the inside edges to hug the frame tubes.

Got the base coat on need to let it dry then apply the paint mask and spray the rustic orange and remove the mask.

Finished paint on the tank halves and installed on the bike.

Came up with a different seat post to keep the curves going.

Needed a brake clamp so I made one out of copper

Had to repaint the handle bars from messing with the light.

Just need to clean up the spokes do a couple touch ups and decide light or no light

Nice updates to the seatpost, tank, and shifter.
The light looks much better painted and lower. I still think the bike looks better without it though. Don't get me wrong, it looks good with the light now too, but I think it is better without it.
Great bike!!!

Rolling smoothly! Great size.
