Usually, putting balloon tires (2.125" width) on a middleweight frame will mean doing away with fenders, as there isn't enough clearance. Sometimes there isn't isn't enough frame clearance for the fatter tires. Middleweights usually came new with 1.75" width tires. I've put the wider tires on a few different middleweight frames. This is a Typhoon, a middleweight, with 2.125 tires:

It has Ballooner fenders, but it started off as a Typhoon middle weight. Bit of a tight fit, but 26x2.125 tires work. Good luck with your build!

maby u dont know they make a almost balloon tire for the middle weight bikes that fit the 26x13/4 and here it is 1-26 x1=3/4 and they make a 2-26x1=3/4 which is almost like a balloon tier made for the s7 wheel u can get them at your local bike shop or they can order them for u they look real nice on a middle weight with no problem belinda_s
