Sandblasted and powder coated the frame last night. It turned out terrible. Went home and wetsanded the whole thing. This afternoon I washed it down, baked it, powdered it and baked again. Turned out really well. Let the assembly begin!!

Almost there! Just need new grips (ordered) and a new seat (still looking) and it will be done...for now.

I used a short bar end and clamped it over the reduced area of the seat post. The twist shifter fit right on the bar end.

Update: Got my Electra Amsterdam saddle and coke bottle grips. Ordered a new stainless seat post, chrome bottom bracket and chrome stem bolts. Took off the sprocket and stem to strip the powder coat and polish them. Waiting for the new bottom bracket to reinstall the sprocket. I'm probably going to strip and recoat the cranks with chrome powder. Just too much red! Also have some decal ideas...to represent my Polish heritage. [emoji2]

It's finally done...for this year. I removed the excess redness and added a couple decals. Now she's ready to enjoy for the season until I get some ideas for next year. Or another project.

Installed a chrome bottom bracket and headset. Got myself a new stainless seat post. Stripped and polished all of the small aluminum parts.

I got tired of the ape hangers so I picked up some new handlebars.

Then realized I didn't like the high snoopy bars either (my wife said they look too girly). So I picked up another set.

I'm sticking with these.

Latest and last photos I'll post on this thread. This past month I added a Project 346 shifter, a brown Velo leather saddle, a pair of Flybikes Ruben pedals in brown and a pair or dark brown leather grips from Woohoo Bikes in Poland [emoji1200]. It's done. Thanks for watching.
