Here's my Green bike, A genesis Super 32" Cruiser, in the process of fixing him up, so far added some old apes and bought some caliper brakes since I converted the coaster hub into a free coaster, wanting to add some more metallic purple to the rig as his name is Hulk.

Gave my Pop this 1954 Wasp for Father's day a little early last weekend, first year for the Shine Green paint.
He had one just like it on his 10th Christmas, fresh from the box. Assembled by my grandfather.
My uncle got Blue that same Christmas of '54.

I put a Stock Schwinn Typhoon Brick on the back so new the center rubber handnt been worn off and a Goodyear on the front until I source a second Typhoon for him.
Neither of us are big on WW, And naturally they came with the Black Typhoon Bricks so he wanted it as he remembered.

Happy Father's Day, Fellas.

This frame was to be the first in my illustrious craft frame building career. Alas, I moved closer to the beach started surfing everyday and my priorities changed almost overnight. Built at UBI in Ashland, Oregon summer 1995. I built it as a dedicated single speed by cutting the derailleur and I think that, just my plans to make it a dedicated single speed, led one of the instructors to take a special interest in my project which led to him giving me the AVR tube set. No powder coat I think it weighed 3.3lbs. I had big plans that included the Paul Components WORD hubset and their version of V-Brakes. I also designed this frame for a RockShox Judy SL. Turns out I started really committing myself to surfing and I was as broke as an unemployed student living on Pell grants and student loans. The BB is bent now and it needs to be completely refinished. On the Brightside I can get a 1”steerer tube Judy SL on eBay for a lot less than you could in the 90’s. This is my next project. It deserves it. It’s been 25 years!

Yeah, that deserves to be built! What a piece that would be, built by you from the ground up! Are you thinking period correct, or resto mod? Lotta nice, light single speed stuff nowadays, this one could catch the weight weenies' eyes

I would love to do period correct but I don’t know... I need to get back to work and catch about 1000 tons of squid so I can build it like I’ve always wanted to.
