Saturday morning 'cartoon'....

Worthy to be part of the Banana Splits.
La la la,,,,,la la la la,,,,la la la la la la la la

That looks awesome!
Voting booth picture?

Even though it has an effect on it? I dig it too. And I know guys have used effects on final photos before. Here's the original

The filter pic was way cool, but I prefer seeing the real deal. Killer build.

Here's kind of an 'in between' version of the original photo. Not as sketchy looking as the 'cartoon' version, but adds a bit of surrealism to the photo.

More and more I am leaning towards this staging as my final photo entry.

You won't get any insults from me , David! This is definitely the 'show' version of the build. For general riding, the headers are easily removed, with one bolt through the fender and unclicking the cup from between the fender stays. And put back on in a snap for car shows, etc.

I understand why you made them, but I think they don't flow with the bike.
I'm not sure you do understand. The point headers isn't to flow with the bike. They're to flow the exhaust! See the below gasser example for header flow

I guarantee that exhaust flows!

Lest y'all forget where my true heart is, I rat-ified a BACK40 head badge logo for Faded Glory, my combined womens (fork and fenders) and mens (frame and original wheels) Monarch build. Three colors of various Rusto rattle can, and an Heirloom White dusting over the vinyl decal.

Rode it to grab supper, a P'zone (calzone) sandwich from Pizza Gut. A nice 3.5 mi round trip to build up an appetite.

Man, this bike rides great!

Right after I built it exactly four years ago!
Love how the Fat Franks fade!

Your 'Hut uses ParkTool glasses?! ;)

It was a 'grab and go'. Still hot when I got home, too. Of course the 83 degree temps helped a bit with that. :p

RaTs GaSs build Day 59 Video Update #8

So, a little bit of history on the Rat Fink. Part of the inspiration for the green stinky guy, was as kind of an anti - Mickey Mouse figure. His grotesque face with bulging eyes, over sized mouth with sharp pointed teeth, and green, almost 'radioactive' skin, was the anti - hero to the natty, slick, primary colored Disney character. Kind of a 'de-volution' of what Mickey was, Rat Fink became the alternative hero of the cartoon scene in the '60s.

Here's my take on it, in a short video clip of my RaT-ivities this hot Sunday afternoon...
