this weekend we took a trip to my dad's camp by Lake Burton in North Georgia.
the closest town is Clayton, and its a pretty cool little mountain town.
they have a big flea market right on the edge of town and we checked it out today.
i found this nice green 1969 typhoon. guy wanted $125. i gave him $100. its worth that to me.
well at least i think its a 69. the serial is on the rear dropouts, and its a BE*****
i think its in great shape. the seat is obviously not original. i think it came off an exercise bike.
its friggin huge!
its got S7s with just slight pitting, bendix single red band hub in back, schwinn tires, sparkle green schwinn grips.
the chrome is pretty much flawless, even on the fenders.
hub shiners on front and rear.
check it.....
its kinda in pieces cuz i had to fit 2 bikes into my sisters CRV along with 3 people and 2 dogs.

i also picked up this free spririt.
my sister really liked it so i told her i would fix it up for her for xmas.
$30 for this one.
its got a shimano 3 speed with a coaster brake.
its also got a bent front wheel. i have a couple 27s in the dungeon though so that shouldnt be a problem.
the fenders are in great shape, the rear rack is awesome, and the paint is in good shape too.
check it....

I'm diggin the schwinn..green is a eye catcher. I also think your sister is "cool" for seeing the potential in the free spirit. Question, where do you ride?! My Dad lives in Stone Mt (I know not really close to you) and it just seems like there is no where to go.

stone mountain is only like 20 minutes east of the city.
i live downtown in a neighborhood called Reynoldstown.
i ride everywhere. around the hood, to bars, to work, etc.
