A lot of people have wondered why I didn't keep my old 10 speed original, since it still had the original paint job and everything except the original tires and seat. I still have the old steel drop handlebars. So I ordered some stuff from Niagara cycles to put it back fairly close to original. This is now:

I should have it done next week.

Very cool Herc. I've got one but it's far from it's original condition. I'm a fan of drop bars though on lugged frames though.

I'm watching for the UPS truck with my stuff for this bike. I can't wait to get it done. It'll be on the tenspeedbikes.com page and bikeporn on FB I hope.

Very cool, I love those English bikes! That bike reminds me of a Royal Scot that I found a while back, it had the same crank set (I nearly bought it for that alone.)

Are those Schwalbe tires?

Those are cheap chen shin tires, They had different colors so I thought I would give them a try. They only had those in 27", I was hoping for some 26" also. I've tried to figure out the year, going by the gears and chainrings, it's between a 62 and 69. Most are them are on Raleighs that I have seen.

Thanks, I just remembered another thing, the pedals dont use bearings. They just slide on the spindle and use a c clip to hold them on.
