shimano click stick shifter

anyone have pictures of what the insides like(like how its lock into gear when it shifts,how the teeth mesh...if there are any),exploded views,manuals, etc. would be a great help!i need to make a shifter from scratch and these would help greatly

I know you like making things but you can own one of these shifters for 15 dollars canadian from chain gang lowriders website. They have a chrome one and a creme colored one for sale. Here are the links I hope this helps you.

sensor come down to the shop i can show u the insides in person if you want. a note the smaller handlebar mounted thumb version of these works the same as the larger click stick so if you have one of those the mech inside works the same

Those vlier plungers will save you some work and you can pick them up on ebay. The only hard part is determining which one to use. I'll see if I can find the model # I used. If I had to do it again I'd use a larger dia. ball.

i may take you up on that karfer(still aways from worrying about the gearing yet but sometime ill get there :lol: )....the only shimano shifter i have is the wifes pps for the 3cc hub and that was no help at all :roll:
