Funny thing about the bike is I spent an hour scrounging a bunch of old saddles to make one era correct mens seat then this thing gets dropped off at my house 30 mins later

I thought it was complete rust and it turned out to be brown paint

That actually looks good now, I wouldn't touch that paint at all. Too bad you took off the shotgun seat, I wanted to be the guinea pig on the bailing wire! :wink:

You guys are laughing at the bailing wire but you forget that is when steel was still made good. It would have probably held a few more rides...lol Cool bike and great clean up. Enjoy that ride.!!

Power washed it then painted clear over it
