has ne one ever seen or built a bike that was opened on one side like on jesse rookes motorcycle if such bicycles exist picture would be great if not looks like i may have to be the first lol......

yup "kenny p" had one that had a 1 sided fork too, its on here somewhere, ill dig around and see what i can kick up :wink:

The first time I seen a single sided fork was way back in the eighties. Someone was making a mini BMX bike with one. The bike also featured a head set that used nylon bushings instead of bearings. The local bike shop had a MTB last summer that had a single sided fork but, I'm not sure what brand it was. Airplanes have been using single sided supports for many years on their landing gear.

Someone in our club made one. It's also left side drive. Don't know anything about it though.
On a bike I would assume it would be called a "single sided stay" since there's no swing arm unless it has rear suspension I suppose.

I believe it's a brake and not a shifter. Maybe Kenny will pop in with answers.

single sided swing arms on choppers are BAD ... im feeling the second bike as well, dont know how I feel about the first one but def a cool idea!
