Well, since I can´t buy one down here I better build it.
This one is for my baby girl.
Any suggestions, tips and encouragement welcome! :D

This is what made the clockworks in my head start to move, a gas heater carcass:

Then I had to fabricate the wheels... can´t get anything similar here either...

Just returned from getting a rubber band for those, and hubcaps made from stove burners (pics soon)

With some luck it should start looking in the vicinity of a Deuce soon

PD: It will be pink, hopefully I´ll manege to make it pink and still cool, we´ll see :roll: :lol:
 
Well, thanks! A man's got to do what a man's got to do :lol:
to import one from the States is way to expensive, over 1K :shock:

Got the hood into shape, my niece seems to like it and now I know I got the right dimensions...

Next is to fit that hood, and start on the grill fabrication. :wink:
 
Thanks Omar, if all goes well I´ll be fitting that hood tonight after work and then I´ll be fabricating the grill, hope it gets easier after that :roll: :? :D
 
Thanks man!!

Finished the wheels yesterday, and I'm about to make it a roller.
Lot´s of body work and prep for the paint once I get it rolling, but at least I'm seeing progress...

Yeah, I keep surprising myself you know, the body is still rough but slowly getting there.
Got the wheels done yesterday, and made the plans for the steering wheel this morning...
Everything built, not bought!! :wink:
 
Some progress, things are moving slow, cause time is scarce, but little by little is getting done.
Couldn't find a steering wheel nice enough and in the right size locally, so I built one:
