because i found this at the dump!

20 inch rollfast...

look at the brick tread on the rear wheel...

the tire on the front says schwinn spitfire on the sidewall, and has little to no wear on the tread...

Because I resurrected this thread!

The 7 year itch...

I found this 20" rollfast back in August of '07.
Almost 7 years ago..,
3 months before my daughter was born. I hung it on a hook in the shed, and that's where it stayed.

Fast forward to November 2013
I decided to give it to my daughter for christmas...



A new set of wheels/tubes/tires, fenders and pedals.

I cleaned it, repacked all the bearings, and rubbed it out with rubbing compound...

Lucky girl!
