This is a bike I built for my father-in-law for Christmas... Just now getting around to posting my winter builds. This one started life as a varsity cruiser. I built the wheels with some aluminum hoops, put a twin sprocket crank set up front... Couldn't get the derailleur to work well enough for Santa's standards, so he'll have to shift manually like they did at the turn of the century, but he gets 5 speeds from the rear. The paint is not a far departure from the CCM color originally used, but was dinged up enough to justify a re-paint.

Sweet, really like the rake on that frame and fork.

Thanks everyone... it kinda hurt giving this one away. I needed to make space anyhow... and afterall I did build it as a gift... throughout the process though, I was hoping that the "gift" would be rejected and I would get to hang on to it
