Been a long time since I posted anything. Just wanted to stop
by and say hello to everybody, and hope yall are doing good.
I have missed frame building, but not the mess in my shop.
Play some with my lathe and mill but there is just so much
stuff you can build with one. Its kinda like your wrench set....
use them and put them up till you need something done.
So now I just hang out and try to find things to entertain myself.

Uncle, you need some direction! When are you going to start taking orders for custom machine work???
Glad to see that you are still lurking about.
Build something!!!!

Good to hear life is well for you. Haven't seen you in a while.
Any plans on playing in the build off this year?

I'm pretty sure my bike building days are over. I actually sold one
the other day and it wasn't to Chuck. :)
I had a weak moment.
My designs got stagnant and all started looking alike .
The shop is always clean but less useful these days. I do miss
building with everybody. Was always fun.

heya uncle stretch glad to see you again.
i hear you on wanting to be different, and not have everything looking the same, but i think i speak for all of us when i say you're designs are genius.
and why mess with perfection! you have built some of the sweetest rides i've seen on this site.
glad to see you again and i hope you find something that makes you decide to build again. we all miss it(again im sure i speak for everyone here )

Thanks everybody, I'm greatful that my builds were appreciated.
Its official, a guy just came by and bought my JD2 bender. No more
frames in my future. It was fun and I hope everybody got something
out of the ones I did.

Sorry to see ya go mr stretch, your Bikebuilding really helped to inspire me. i picked up some machinist equipment to push me beyond building the frame. anyhow enjoy life!

Uncle Stretch getting out of bike building??? That's like Heff moving out of the mansion. What is going on here? Are you saving up for an upgrade or moving on to new things or retiring all together?

Hi all. I built this bike in parts. I rode it some and realized its a really
nice bike. I did a quickie paint job and the bondo work wasn't really
up to par. I have decided to actually take it apart, fix the bondo and
do a decent paint job on it. The thing really rides nice and deserves
better. I was going to sell it to a guy, but decided against that too.
So maybe a little progress in the next few days. I could post in the
right section, but chose to stay back here in the shadows.

Thanks AS . Looks like the plan to redo this one
has been sidetracked by my brotherinlaw wanting
a motorized bike.
