Removing a 3 piece crank

I'm trying to take the 3 piece crankset off of a Dunelt Britsh girl's frame. Any pointers on how to remove the crankset? Never worked on a 3 piece before, and I don't want to screw anything up. Thanks!

Cotter pin

1. remove the nut from the cotter pin
2. use a punch to TAP the pin out...from the threaded side
(i assume you don't have the pin press)
3. arms should come off now

I agree i had the same thing on my steyr bike.

be careful, i bent one of those bolts cuz i tried to 'hammer' it out rather than 'tap' it out. next time im just gonna buy the right removal tool.
