I inherited my grandfathers 2000 Electra Fat Tire Model exactly like the yellow one posted earlier in the thread. I had it shipped from Kansas City to here in Oregon last week and it was all but pretty much destroyed in shipping. All I have to work with is the frame and handlebars. I ordered all new parts and cannot wait to post the image of the final product for you guys to see. Cheers!

That sucks! But I can't wait to see what you do with it!

2010 along the poudre river, just up stream from the brewery.

sometimes you have to justify that rack.

Speaking of racks, there are several around town and they are pretty inexpensive. NBB had a garage sale a month ago and the racks were going for about 20 bucks.

Since the website cruizerbikes.com that had photos of all years of the New Belgium bikes is no longer working
I tried to make up a basic photo line up for our members (using the info i could find online)

I've got a 2010 and 2013, but no pics right now. My 2010 is slightly different than pictured. For starters, it unfortunately doesnt have the rack. I've heard that they (forget who made the racks, someone enlighten me) came up short on the order for racks, so many bikes were sent out without racks. Also mine has a chrome chainring instead of the pictured black, and a brown/black seat with red piping. They're both ridden a couple times a week, always get comments and are a joy to ride!

I have a 2009 that has maybe 1/2 a mile on it. It got hung up in the rack in April 2009 after a trip around town and hasn't been moved since.

HELP! I NEED TO KNOW IF THE 2000 EDITION ACTUALLY HAS SERIAL NUMBERS!

LONG STORY SHORT. I SOLD MY NB 2000 ON EBAY AND IT GOT RETURNED. TURNS OUT IT GOT SHIPPED TO MY OLD ADDRESS AND UPS DIDNT ASK FOR A SIGNATURE. I SAW THE BIKE AT MY OLD ADDRESS WHEN THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE HAD A YARDSALE AND WHERE ASKING $2000 FOR THE BIKE, THAT WAS 4 MONTHS AGO. WELL I DIDNT FIND OUT TILL TODAY THAT EBAY SENT A RETURN SHIPPING LABEL TO THE BUYER TO RETURN THE BIKE AND THIS HAPPEND OCT/2010. THE THING IS. IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. THE NB FAT TIRE 2000 EDITION DIDNT HAVE A NUMBER MARKING ON IT.

IS THIS CORRECT? HELP ME OUT FELLOW NEW BELGIUM BREWERY BIKERS! I NEED THE HELP!
How did this turn out?

I just picked up a 2010, on the cheap, and it needs help. Most of the bolts are rusted (quick trip to the hardware store, no biggie), the bars are wrong, the wooden basket slats are toasted with the finish failing and the rims are totally sun bleached. Have some cruiser bars and a set of red 3G wheels that I think might look cool. Opinions? Customize it? Rat it? There doesn't seem to be much chance of making it look like new.

MHO. I would clean it up, put the 3G wheels and bar on it and try to restore the wood slats. Wood is easy to work with, worst case you can use them as a template and replace them.

Yeah, don't know why I hadn't quite gotten to repainting the wheels. I just got the thoughts of; leave it like it is- ratty, hotrod it- fatter wheels/gears/etc, or mildly redo it. Not the money shot, but here it is.

Thanks for the input.
