Sanded the frame smooth with 220 grit then hit it with a couple of coats of etch primer, then sanded that with 600. Next I’ll hit it with a couple coats of build primer, smooth out some minor issues with 400 grit, then a few more coats, topping it off with a light touch of 600 grit.

Widened the plates by an inch. I thought the larger size extruded too much, so I cut out the excess. Going to get a steer tube welded on, then we’ll try assembly again.
