I'm a phil wood type of guy. Phil wood water proof bearing grease on the bearings and phil wood tenacious oil for the inners.

What I love most is those tires. It's got the old diamond pattern but rounded and modernised. I most ask what they are and what psi they run.

I just use the mineral spirits parts washer at work.

I know from experience on my ross. I purchased the top crankset and put the same chainring (bottom) on with no issues.

I left my caliper at work but from eye they look like 12g. The nexus just needs a shifter and joint unit. luckily the joint unit is the same as the 7 speed and seems like people are using the 7 and 8 speed shifters with success.
