Thanks! Mr. Mortimer can be a harsh critic so his blessing meant the world (as did my wife's!), LOL.

I guess you can say I have a soft spot for these considering my 1964 Eldorado (affectionately known as Rat-dorado) was the first vintage bicycle I acquired and rebuilt. So imagine my delight when I seen this beauty posted to my local Craigslist page. I was floored to see one for sell in my area...

A few of the little details that give my bike a little personality; Pinstriped sprocket; Cup holder that was made from a tin can found on my in-law's property. The skull ornament was picked up a recent car show; Skull door lock pins used for nuts to hold the banana seat bolts in place...

I'm not quite sure if I like them on the bike...

Thanks gang, I appreciate the bike kudos and welcome. @deorman- I believe it is for the most part. We put a different set of rims on as original rims were quite rusty and bent. Otherwise everything else is as we found it in my father-in-law's barn. @Falstaff- I found a mirror that will...

Hi All- New to the forum, as well as riding/working with vintage bikes. My son and I have two bikes we're tinkering with- a Columbia-Wesftfield, and a Huffy Eldorado. Looking forward to chatting with like-minded folks, exchanging ideas, and learning from the group.'] Our bikes- [/URL] The Huffy...
