NEW STUFF AT WAL-MART (Op Bike PICS ADDED)

Thanks for posting this Kokomo bike! I measured the hub, and it appears they also left enough aluminum that I can cut either one down and thread on disc brake adapters. https://www.ebay.com/i/292044349903?chn=ps I think these wheels might be going on my next build painted either fire truck or...

    Tire pressure?

Here's those 26" red wall slicks that are rated for 50 PSI. I wish they were a tad bit wider. https://www.ebay.com/itm/2-OF-SLICK-BLACK-RED-WALL-MOUNTAIN-BIKE-TIRES-26-X-2-10-LS077-SMOOTH-THREAD-/192114922594

Bike racks with long wheel base help...

My straps are rubber, however I carry some 2” blue painters tape with me and just stick a small piece or two on my polished wheels so that even the rubber pads on the straps don’t scuff them.

Bike racks with long wheel base help...

This rack was the best one I could find that would still work for my stretched out cruisers and not scratch or rub on the frame. I guess I got lucky as I found mine on craigslist barely used for $150...

    NonGoose 26 BMX project

Very cool project indeed! The early 80's Mongoose's had some of the prettiest and cleanest welds to ever grace a chrome frame of any mass-produced bmx bicycle of the time.

    7/8" Laidback Seatpost?

    7/8" Laidback Seatpost?

You could possibly use a 13/16" to 7/8" shim or sleeve , I've had to use these on a few builds because finding a 13/16" post is slim pickings. http://www.ebay.com/itm/311712971489

    Spoke gauge question

I'm not trying to argue If we was talking drilling out skinny road bike or cross country mountain bike rims, because yeah I'd stay away from drilling them out too. As far as cruiser or BMX steel or aluminum wheels go I have yet to ever have one crack on me from enlarging the holes for 12g...

Nice Find! I never knew GT made a cool hybrid like this. I wonder if this is one of Pacific bicycles early attempts at expanding the GT line.

What to do with a wet speaker

Yes the particle board isn't used because it's cheap, it's used because its less prone to resonate or vibrate like solid wood or plywood does. I'm kind of surprised you didn't find any fiberglass insulation in those old boxes as well. Some of the older 80's and 90's MDF material was sometimes...

Possibly Stupid Question on Front Sprockets

 I believe I misunderstood your question. Now If you added a three speed crankset to your current bottom bracket with a front derailleur and chain tensioner there's no reason why that shouldn't work. There are a many special needs hand pedal bicycles set up this way so that the person...
