I may be WAY late to the conversation but I’m gonna say paint/ refinish it!! As BIG of a fan of patina as I am, I think the build, utilizing new parts AND old patina sections don’t mesh!!! I’d continue with the build which looks AWESOME by the way way but give it ALL a fresh coat of paint!!
