    Prewar Schwinn DX Stretch, I received the frame as is ,
    Someone ? Cut out the dropouts and added to them , good strong welds but not the best but ads to the rattie carricture
    In the process they also cut the top of the seat stay clamp off
    I added a original Schwinn bent seat post flipped upside down and drilled through the frame and place a bolt and nut , also added

    2-spd kick back rear S-2 wheel
    Front is a femco heavy duty wheel w/nice chrome but big ding.
    Old studded w/w tires
    Repop DX tank (No horn)
    Prewar stem on old Stingray ape hangers
    Oddball black grips w/leather tassels
    Front Springer is part Schwinn w/after market steertube.
    Ratty big head light takes D batteries and needs a bulb
    Phantom Chain ring w/ aftermarket dog leg
    Aftermarket bow pedals
    DX Chainguard
    Nice older Troxel men's saddle
    Askin 600 + shipping to the lower 48

    Suprislingly, it actually handles Purdy decent my wife has rode it a few times and she's about 5'2" and doesn't have any trouble at all..

    My comments were out of line actually. I should have said...."that thing looks as if it rides like a train". (quick turns out of the question)
    I bet once you get it rolling straight, it's as smooth as a baby's bottom!!:thumbsup:
    It would make a cool strandie for someone looking for one. It's Ready to go.
