Once in a lifetime opportunity to buy a complete, unmolested example of a pre 1900 racing tandem bicycle.
This is a machine fit for a major collection and/or museum. Anyone would be proud to own such a fine piece of cycling history.
Provenance from a transportation museum to a private collection to me.
The pictures tell the tale and I have more for any interested party. Since this photo shoot I have managed to replace the one set of non original pedals with a set of Crescent script pedals. Once the weather clears I can get another set of pics.
Hunt saddles, period single tube tires, Crescent / Baldwin proprietary chain, phenomenal matched drop bar set and of course the amazing original paint and pin stripes.
Don’t miss out, you won’t see many more original bicycles of this ilk cross your path in the future, too many have been poorly restored and will never be corrected.
Local pick up in Detroit area or can be delivered to Copake, Memory Lane, or Ann Arbor swaps.
