Picked this up about 2 weeks ago. Waiting for the seat in the mail from Bob U. but otherwise clean and original.

NICE!!!!!!!!!

I'm curious about the Henderson branding. Does the head badge also say Henderson or does it say Schwinn?

Schwinn Bought out Henderson Motorcycles in 1918 or something like that.

Schwinn actually built Motorcycle for a short period of time...Henderson, Excelsior..etc..

by the 30's, Schwinn pretty much stopping building motorcycle and just used the Henderson, Excelsior, Ace name they already owned to badge their bicycles.

you see the say thing with Westfield MFG and other early motorcycle companies that couldn't compete with Harley and Indian

Great find!

Question.... the crank was dated 41 but the morrow is stamped k1, wouldnt that be 42?

Real nice bike. I'm jealous. I have two '41 Schwinn's but both have been redone. Your bike has one year only Lobdell "special steel" flat top rims. I can tell by the heavy offset on the spokes. Only the deluxe bikes in '41 had those. One of my 41's had those as well but they were shot. The nipples were pulling through the holes. Gary
