1955 schwinn stingray

Just bought this today at a car swapmeet, dont know much about bikes more into impalas but i wanna restore it. It has "s7" rims not sure if correct for bike but tires that were given to me didnt fit.

Go to you bike shop and order some 26 X 1 3/4 tires to fit Schwinn S7 rims. They are available. Your S7 rims are correct for your bike, and they are surely replacement rims as they are in way too good of condition to have come on that bike originally. They look minty new in the pic. Gary

Thank you Gary, i went to my local bike shop they actually had them in stock $16 a piece "kenda" tires ill pit them on this weekend and replace the chain as well.

Stingrays didn't come out till... '63 I believe. So that's a Jaguar, Hornet... something like that. Looks good! Great project!
