Picked this up off CL today, had to pay a bit more than I`d like too but i`m a sucker for black bikes.

Looks good. I'd be nice if the horn button was sitting inside the tank, along with a roll of 20's of course.

Does that bike have a one piece front hub or a 3 piece? It looks like a one piece made in Germany. If so, it's been replaced. The Americans used a cheapo 3 piece hub instead of the better German hub so the bike could sport the "100% made in USA" sticker. Gary

Mine is a one piece, then i went to the schwinn spec sheets and most all middle weights seem to use the same hub number 4901(which is what mine should have) and some use 4903. Jaguar and Corvette have the same hub number in the spec sheets 4901. Was told it was as found so i really dont know.

looks like mine. i wish my chainguard still had the decal on it though.
