1967 Schwinn Stingray value

Hi,

Looking for a fair value of my 1967 Stingray. The headset/bottom bracket and front hub are rebuilt. Rear works great. Cleaned and waxed. Sissy bar is not Schwinn, everything else is. New chain. Rear tire has a split on the tread, not sure if its usable, otherwise in perfect shape. Rear s-2 is straight but has a few flat spots (1 bad one shown in pic)

Just my opinion, $150 ... if the tires were decent and the rear rim was in nice shape I'd shoot about $200/$250 though. If the paint and decals were a bit nicer I'd firm up at $250. Cool bike though, I've still got one similar stashed away in a little bit rougher shape. :mrgreen:

For the most $ I would try Ebay, there are still enough bidders out there that will probably bid it up higher than I'm thinking. :wink:

Cool, that's about what I was thinking. I don't have paypal so I can't do ebay. I'm going to a swap meet on Sunday so I plan on taking it with.

Just put a patch on the inside of the tire, that's what I do. Usualy works. And 150 sound about right for it as well.

I did patch it, not sure how it will hold though
