1982 Schwinn Sidewinder

just picked this up at a bike auction on my campus usually they have cruddy bikes that go for ridiculous amounts of money this time I picked this one up for dirt cheap




i almost didn't pay attention to this bike but the anodized wheels caught my eye and after a little research I realized i was looking at an early mountain bike!
Shes a little rough but she'll clean up nice and will look good next to my clunker and "modern" mountain bike
I'm going to eventually find the missing components but for now I'm going to leave it as single speed

Nice find , I picked up one of those at a thrift store in Reno
not long ago for 40 bux it was in really good shape ', put on Craigs list and sold it the next day for 150.00 , I think that was too cheap...
