I know there isn't much love here for road bikes, but this arrived today.

Going to use era appropriate Campagnolo to build it up.
 
I love me some Italian steel. Too bad you don't have the matching steel fork. It is getting harder to find 1 inch threaded carbon forks, though. If I were building it, because of the more modern carbon for, I'd build it with some Record Carbon stuff. Always been a fan of retro fitting old frames with modern stuff. Have fun building it and post some completed pics
 
mmm, that's tasty. I pined for one of those in my racing days. That Kestrel fork has to go though.
 
Very nice...looks tall! Like others have said, a chrome lugged fork would be nice. I'm thinking about building up a nice steel Merckx or Colnago over the winter. I have a steel Salsa touring/adventure bike. As much as I like my carbon bikes, there is something about steel....
