I picked up this sweet Gary Fisher Sugar 292 with a few upgrades back in spring. This thing is pretty impeccable and I love the Bass-boat paint! Just wanted to show it off now that it is all cleaned up and put back together. Do you guys think a 2003 is considered a vintage bike or is it too new?

Although mountain bikes have changed considerably since 2003, most "vintage" mtb sites set the cut off date at about 1998. That's when technology made huge shifts, suspension actually started working, frames shifted to aluminum, and rim brakes began to switch out for discs.
That's the general consensus, my opinion is that you have an incredible trail weapon. Everything I see on there is top notch, just not the latest/greatest industry hyped product. Both shocks are high quality rebuild-able units (I want the disc Bomber!), Xtr was the best shimano group. For Matti, that's about the sweet spot of MTB design; the peak of the classic style, before the new geometry made everything downhill focused
