Picked this thing up today...not sure if it's homemade or factory. 24" wheel and a Persons saddle. I'm guessing it's from the 30's. Anyone ever see one like this before?

Side note - last year I went to a mnt. Bike fat tire fest & there was a guy riding a fat tire unicycle on the trail up & down some gnarly hills it was mind blowing !

Seriously, I saw that on a tv show a few years ago. Was an X games type deal, apparently it was popular for a while.
 
Looks like a fairly modern welding technique of solid rod construction. Is it as heavy as it looks?
I would guess 50's up, hand made-- possibly using an older tricycle front wheel.

Yep....pretty heavy and solid as a rock.

Front wheel is a 24".
