Battery + Belt sander = RRB build off 10

unfortunately the battery was just a little to wide for the battery box so I had to sand it down on the belt sander probably not the best thing to do but it worked so now it fits inside my battery box/number plate

Looks like you sanded into the led plates. I have no experience with this, but I'm thinking it may be wise to make sure it doesn't come in contact with your metal box/number plate. Also, I was wondering if it is rechargeable?

Patina or powder coat ? That's what I've been contemplating from the beginning of this build . I've gone back & forth in my mind several times , but the more I look at this flat rat the more I like the patina . It just seems to fit this bike well . Clear coat it & some shiny new parts & the more it's starting to grow on me . If I was to powder coat it it would be a deep gray to keep a vintage feel . Decisions ,decisions ???

I really like the shape of your number plate, looks great! The fender w/ the holes is very cool too!

That makes sense for sure but I didn't hit the plates just a little discolor form the sander

The stance on this bike is totally killer. Im also a huge fan of using the maxxis tires. I used them all the time on my mountain bikes. Super high quality and that lettering is just bling

I follow the lines of the bike I didn't want to take any thing away from the old CwC just add to it . The # plate is two sided & will hold the battery hidden between the two I have a little shelf welded in place to hold the battery .

That's a really cool bike. Wish it would be easier (and cheaper) to get frames as cool as yours here in Spain.

Thanks man I have to admit is a pretty cool frame .

my powder coat buddy . I had most of the parts dome in black chrome & the fork in light gray . The gray is a little lighter then I hoped looks almost like primer with gloss but it makes the black chrome pop .

Started to assemble the fork , I put the springs in the vice to compress them so I could get them started on the fork

Very clean work. I'm really liking this bike. Sanding the batt. Where were you when I was working with detonation cord and chain smoking engineers?!

Well I set the fork back to my buddy ( big mike ) doing the powder coating , the gray is just to blah , looks like primer gray with clear coat . The frame was not done yet & anyway big mike don't like gray so he's going to put a custom paint job on it , I know it's going to looks sweat . Sweat like a root beer float with a shot of peppermint schnapps ! . Well you will just have to wait and see . Hope it doesn't take too long the days are flying by on BOTEN [emoji88][emoji232]

Im passing the time trying to do some small odds & ends until I get the frame back . I Painted over the Maxxis lettering there's nothing yellow on this bike and as much as I like these tires I don't want to be a rolling billboard for Maxxis . I want the bike to speak for it self , the tires are just a part of the bike . Keeping it clean
