80s Huffy?

Guy gave me a Huffy bmx. I am guessing it is from the 80's. Is there a serial number chart for low grade bikes?

I dont know of one for the 80's, usually find dates stamped on the wheels and stem though.

well i can tell you because i used to own one.
that is a 1985 model huffy racing 30
id did have pads and a rear caliper brake originally.
these bikes sold for brand new i think i paid like 60 bucks for mine.
there was a stripped down version as well in the late 80's which could be what this is which sold brand new for 35 bucks.
so im guessing anywhere between 85-89 for model year.
unfortunately it was a really low end bicycle and very few survived the thrashing and abuse boys gave their bikes as kids. so it's kinda cool you scored one and cannot beat free.

btw it appears to eb all original right down to the tires so that,s a cool survivor.
