What do you guys think about building a 24" wheels klunker with these 2, don't know if I can do it before the dealine but might as well try. :)

Re: Late in the game

That'd be cool...but Im diggin the Jamis as is

Re: Late in the game

Only problem with the jamis is that the chrome is pitted where it has stickers.

Re: Late in the game

that jamis is already a klunker, now lets see about the spitfire. kool bikes. bring it on

Outlaw 8)

Re: Late in the game

WOW... That Jamis is Kool...
I'm really liking that concept though…
But… if that Jamis was mine…
I think I would up date the drivetrain with a triple chainring…
And find me another donor for the spitfire…
I’ve got an old teranaut mountain bike of that early 80’s vintage…
I have not had the courage to rob any parts off her yet…

P.S. use two right hand thumb shifters if you do update the Jamis...
It's more klunker/early 80's correct...

Didn't have a multispeed chainring so I couldn't use the wheels with the 5 speed sprocket, so I made it a single speed with some other wheels I had lying around, rides pretty

nice.

looks great but from this photo i thought you did a two-tone color scheme.
it was just shadows!

Nice job. I like that front fork. The baby blue paint is perfect. Can you post a better pic of the handlebar/stem setup?
