Beast color & price watch

The Beast is mainly sold on their Website, although I would imagine that each store is able to sell it in-store if they wish. Other bikes, I would guess, the same rules apply. :?:

I just got back from my local Wally world. Still haven't seen one in person ( I was there just roaming around and popped in the bike section just for curiosity sake )

As a matter of fact I haven't seen half of the bikes you guys say are sold there. Cranbrooks - yes , 29ers - yes. Nothing else though

I think the main reason you won't see Beasts in the stores is because they won't fit the display racks for bikes. In an industry where every inch of shelf space is measured in dollars of sales per year per inch, individual stores aren't given much leeway in adding new inventory.

A second reason could be perceived danger of a large item that could fall over an injure patrons.

Nothing to do with this thread, but I got to see my first live "Beast" today in Cedar Rapids. Nice job on the "John Deere", Rick. 8)

IMO, an upset victory. I think Hooch's "Danger" was the cooler bike by far. Okay, my Beast is still a big attraction to those that haven't seen a fat bike and the paint & decal job did come out pretty well. The Iowa crowd does like it's John Deere stuff.

Just to update this a bit, When I ordered mine on Wed. Sept. 9th

Blue $198.91 - Green $198.97 - Red $173.78

After tax my red one came to $185.94

Today the prices on all 3 colors is $199.00 before tax :roll:
