Hello RRB, I wanted to share this post with all of you. This is my 1980 Schwinn Cruiser and was the first bike I built after 16 years and is actually the reason I found this great site. I was born and raised in East Los Angeles, and back in the 80s when I was a kid we used old Schwinn Stingrays to turn them into Lowrider bikes, that all stoped when I purchased my first car at 16. Now, a little under a year after taking my first ride on a bike again, I have a collection Im proud of. The bug is here and I dont see and end anytime soon... and by the way 1980 is my birth year, and is why this bike is dear to me, hope you guys like it!
