Picked this bike up for dirt cheap and I'm hoping to get an ID one it. I've attached images and one with a serial number. I'm fairly new to building bikes.
Not a Schwinn. I believe it may be a Huffy, based on the serial # format and the obvious three-layer fork crown. Dated firmly in the early-to-mid 1960s due to the Bendix red-band hub...probably 1966.
It's customary to photograph the bike from the "drive side" when possible. Doing so helps afford a clear view of the chainring and chain guard, both of which can be helpful identifiers. I don't think that was necessary in this case--I'm sticking with Huffy and that's my final answer.
