They are NOS...
and I have been told they are from an early Indian motorcycle before they crossed over into the big bikes. I have not been able to verify this via pictures. This info came from someone who asked a question about them when I had them listed on ebay. Considering what I paid for them and what i was asking, I thought a vintage collector of this stuff would step up. No sale, so I kept them. They have the original cardboard on the inside and even some brown paper stuffing. No ID on them as to maker etc. They have a real reflector on the clasp and the only issue with them is the handle has a little cracking on the underside. They are so nice i am afraid to put them on a bike, however, I may have found a great candidate on the bay. We shall see.
