Not sure what exact year this Murray-built J.C. Higgins is, but I just bought it for $17 at a swap meet a little over a week ago. I originally bought it for parts, but instead, I fell in love with it for the blue, turquoise and white paint that closely matches both of my cars! I just chose to fix it up with a couple baskets and some new-ish tires. I actually just took it for a little ride around the neighborhood a few hours ago, and as a result, I love it even more! It rides nice and smooth, the seat's surprisingly comfortable, and the brakes like to take their sweet sweet time coming to a stop. Overall, she's a keeper!
