I just pulled this saddle off an old Raliegh road bike..worst side of seats chrome (now best) was hit for 3mins with brass brush and wd40..I'm confident rest will clean off. Leather is toasted. Any ideas of value if any?

It's a B72, which it seems like they stopped making (at least for the time being). I don't see replacement frames on their website anymore, so that might help if there's someone out there looking for a frame that has a nice top, but I can't imagine that's a large demand and you can't get replacement leather. FWIW and IIRC, I paid about $20 for a new replacement frame for a B68 to fit to a B67 (they stopped making the B68, which was just an unsprung B67 and I didn't want the springs).

Edit: screwed up thinking it was a B18.

Thanks for that info.

I take it back, it's a B72. I got them mixed up in my head!

If you use anything other than Proofhide please do NOT use Neatsfoot oil. Use Obenauf's! Ask some firemen about it. Be Well, SS.
