The tires are 20 x 4.25 bought on amazon. I will post a link when I get to a pc. They were only about 13 bucks shipped. They are way sweet imho. Tread looks better then the stingray fatty. Just my preference I suppose.

As for the Ichi shirt.... That's the one that I won at the artbike fest in Cedar rapids right before I won the 60 corvette! It was a bit small for me. But perfect for my shopdog!

Her girlfriend thought we were both crazy! "and why is your dad taking pictures of wheels?" she asked
Both my wife and me cracked up when we read this. I do exactly the same thing
Looking forward to seeing how your going squeeze in the fat tires :D

If you bought from Amazon, I think I found it, around $15 shipped

YEP! those were the tubes that I bought when I bought the tires. tubes and tires were a bear to get on the wheels but we managed. Also on a side note, After instalation on the wheels the tires measure right at 3.5 wide on 1.5 wide wheel. Thought I would mention that in case anyone wondered.

Yeah, I already wrestled one onto an Alex triple wall BMX rim, it was a bear, but then again, I didn't lube it up. I have to take it off now because I won't be using that wheel! haha

What is the height of the wheel/tire combo now?

Well after a week or so of sickness bouncing between everyone in the house, we have found a small bit of time to do some work.
Found a rear end donor from an old mountain bike and started cutting it up. Looks like it may work "ok". Front forks from old cruiser bike that actually fit right over the tires with no issue at all. They will be shortened to hug the tire a bit better.
Asked her to remove the decals and then sat back a while and watched. I could see the sweat starting to build up as she had only removed about 1/2 inch. She never asked for a better way, just kept picking at the sticker. After about 20 mins or so I decided that I had enough entertainment and she had enough torture so I said.. "oh yhea, I forgot that I had this" as I reached for my heat gun! Decals were removed in about 3 mins. hahahaha!

That smile should make you feel better after being sick.
By the way, your bike is looking SICK too!!!!

Thanks for the support guys! once we get it into a roller, we will then decide what direction its going to go. im thinking white daisy old school bananna seat with matching front basket just to pull in some old style with the new school frame. BUT that is not my choice to make.

On a side note.... She is dead set against a name for this project. :( Its gotta have a name.. we cant just call her "bike"... I will fight till the end on this point!!!

has there been any progress on this build??? my daughter and I are starting one and this was awesome... then it ended???

Looking good. After looking at your pics I noticed something hanging on the wall in your pic. That Hawkeye flag in the background. A fellow Iowan.
